Branch Settings Schedule - Schedule Mode

Modified on Thu, 13 Nov at 4:55 PM

The Branch Schedule Settings screen contains multiple sub-tabs where you can customise certain aspects of your Schedule settings.

Branch Schedule Settings Permissions

You can manage permissions for Branch Schedule Settings from your Profile drop-down menu with the manage users permission.

  1. Go to Branch SettingsManage Users.

  2. Select the user whose permissions you want to edit.

  3. Click Edit, then scroll down to the Branch Settings section.

In this section, you’ll see five permission options. For each option, you can assign one of the following access levels:

  • No Access, View Only or Full Permission (Edit)

  • Branch Owners have Full Access by default. Other tier 1 Users can be granted optional access except Site Manager.

You can access your branch Schedule Settings, with permission, via your profile drop-down icon - the teal coloured circle with your initials to the top right of your page.

Clicking on this icon, scroll down to Branch Settings | Schedule Settings option.

Clicking on this page opens your Schedule Settings screen.

The section is broken down into General, Holidays, Contractor, Replace Assignee and Schedule Mode.

This article will focus on the Schedule Mode Sub tab

Managing Your Project’s Schedule Mode Settings

This section applies only to users with the optional Enterprise Scheduling module, which is covered in detail during our Enterprise Schedule Training.

For all other users, the default scheduling mode is Classic Scheduling.
In Classic Scheduling, you can choose to move:

  • This single task

  • This task and all future milestone tasks

  • This task and all future scheduled tasks

Note:
Rave’s Enterprise Scheduling add-on includes advanced features such as task linking (predecessors and successors) and constraints (e.g. Must Start On).
This provides greater control and flexibility over your project schedules, making it ideal for building companies that require enhanced scheduling precision or are familiar with tools like Microsoft Project.

To change your branch default schedule mode select the Change Schedule Mode box,

Select which mode you wish to be the new default (you can always switch modes per schedule in the project schedule settings). The project specific schedule settings article is here.

Type Confirm in the box

select I understand, change schedule mode to complete.
