At Rave Build, we know you like to have options—so we offer different user group types to suit a variety of roles within your business. These user groups give you the flexibility to control access across your team, ensuring the right people have the right tools at the right time.
In the following article, we’ll explain each user group in as much detail as possible, with the caveat that Rave is constantly improving and evolving. New permissions are added almost monthly to enhance your user experience.
Permissions are broken down into either:
The default permissions assigned to each group or The optional permissions you can enable based on your needs
How to View Your Branch Users
To view and manage your users:
Click your profile dropdown in the top-right corner of your screen.
Scroll down to the Branch Settings section.
Select "Manage Users."
From here, you can view, edit, and manage all users within your branch.

User Groups Explained:
The Second user group is our Tier 1 users - This next group is Marketing
The Marketing Group has been created for team members responsible for managing marketing activities, electronic direct mail (EDMs), sales reporting, and related functions.
This group’s permissions are limited to:
CRM access (for managing customer and lead information)
Selected project information (for campaign-related insights)
Branch settings (as required for marketing and reporting purposes)
These permissions ensure that users in the Marketing Group have the tools they need to perform their duties while maintaining appropriate data security and access controls.
Default Permissions
CRM Access: Enabled full access to customer and lead information
- Branch Settings : Enabled only CRM settings. No access to other Branch Settings
Data Export: Enabled for CRM by default.
Optional Permissions (Enable as Required)
Merging Clients – Can be enabled if the team needs to manage duplicate client records.
Deleting Clients/Enquiries – Can be enabled if the team is responsible for maintaining CRM data accuracy.
Archiving Clients – Can be enabled for managing inactive client records.
Project Access – May be enabled (view-only) to allow visibility of selected project fields for EDMs and other marketing-related activities.
Data Export – Can be enabled to allow exporting of project data for reporting or campaign purposes.
Branch Sales Forecast and Branch CRM/Project Reporting can be enabled
