Optional Album Permissions:

In addition to standard access, the following optional permissions are available for Albums:

  • Edit/Delete All Album Items
Allows the user to edit or delete any item in project albums—not just the ones they uploaded.

  • Move Albums Between Projects
Grants the ability to move entire albums from one project to another. This is useful for consolidating or reassigning project media.

  • Permanently Delete All Album Items
Enables the user to permanently delete any photo or video in the Albums section, regardless of who uploaded it. Use with caution, as this action cannot be undone.

These options provide flexibility for Quantity Surveyors to manage project media more effectively, especially when overseeing multiple sites or maintaining documentation standards.

Optional Progress Payments Permissions:

In addition to standard access, the following optional permissions are available for Progress Payments

  • Request Invoices from Progress Payments
Enables the user to generate invoice requests directly from the progress payment entries, streamlining the handover to finance or admin teams.

  • View Progress Payment Report
Grants visibility of the detailed Progress Payment Report

These permissions are ideal for Quantity Surveyors responsible for cost tracking client invoices.

Optional Financial Management Permissions:

In addition to the default options, you can choose to grant them either View Only or Full Access to the other Financial Management tabs, depending on their responsibilities. This includes areas such as:

  • Invoices Out

  • Bills

  • Financial Notes

  • Project Profitability Report

  • Assigned Accounts Report

  • Charge up Report

  • Transaction Report

  • Buy Variance Report

  • Budget Vs Actual Report

  • Branch Profitability Report

This flexibility ensures Quantity Surveyors have access to the financial tools they need—while still allowing you to maintain control over sensitive data or approval processes.

Optional Timesheet Permissions:

When Timesheets are enabled for a user, they are automatically granted the ability to enter and manage their own timesheets.

You can then assign additional permissions based on their level of responsibility:

  • View Branch Timesheet Audit Trail
Allows the user to access a detailed audit of all timesheet entries within the branch, useful for oversight and compliance.

  • Manage Other Users’ Timesheets (Branch Timesheets Option)
Grants the ability to view, edit, and manage timesheet entries submitted by other users across the branch.

  • Approve Timesheet Entries
Enables the user to approve or reject submitted timesheets, a key step in timesheet workflows and payroll processes.

  • Add & Manage Timesheet Budget and Timesheet Tasks (Linked with Financial Management)
Allows users to set up and manage timesheet-related budgets and link tasks directly to cost tracking and forecasting tools.

  • View Timesheet Hours vs Tasks Report
Provides access to reporting that compares actual hours logged against scheduled tasks, giving insight into project performance and resource efficiency.

These options give Quantity Surveyors control over both their own time tracking and broader timesheet management within the branch—especially valuable when they are involved in resource planning, budgeting, or approvals.

Optional  Branch Settings Permission:

The final optional permission is Branch Settings access. When enabled, this allows the user to view and manage specific branch-level settings, depending on the options you choose.

You can control exactly what they can access by ticking or unticking individual checkboxes—giving you flexibility over what areas of the branch configuration they can see or modify.

Examples of configurable branch settings may include:

  • Branch Contact Details

  • CRM (Client) Settings

  • Contractor Settings

  • Financial Settings

  • Key Tasks

  • Project Stages

  • Timesheets

  • Product Inventory

  • Chart of Accounts

  • Estimate Categories

  • Manage Users

  • Branch Level Audit Trail

  • Branch Forecast

This permission should typically be reserved for trusted users involved in operations, setup, or administration across multiple projects or teams.

Some permissions will only be available with certain modules added onto your Rave Subscription
