Merging Clients in Rave
Sometimes duplicate clients arise, or you may need to consolidate one client into another. That’s where the Merge Clients feature comes in.
You select an existing client to merge into a target (new) client.
The system transfers all data—projects, enquiries, contacts, etc.—from the old client into the new one.
After merging, the old client is deleted from Rave.
This action is irreversible, so it is controlled by special permissions.
A detailed record of the merge is stored in the audit trail.
How to Merge Clients (Transfer One Client into Another)
From the CRM Leads & Clients page, locate the client you want to merge from (the old one).
Click the 3-dot menu to the right of that client’s name and select “Merge”.
In the pop‑up window, choose the new client you want to merge into (the target).
Tick the confirmation checkbox to acknowledge that this action is irreversible.
Click Proceed.
The system will transfer all data (projects, enquiries, contacts, etc.) from the old client to the new one, and then delete the old client.
This action is then audit trailed.
⚠️ Note: Completing a merge, and deleting a profile in this way, is an irreversible action
