Branch Owners and Head Office administrators can request organisation-wide sign-in and security settings for their business.
Note: You must ensure your device has the correct time on it. Tokens are time-based, so if your time is out by more than about 90 seconds, then it will reject your token as invalid
To configure these settings, please email help@ravebuild.co.nz with the following information.
1. Your email domain
Provide the email domain you would like the settings to apply to.
Examples:
ravebuild.co.nzyourbuildingcompany.com
2. Allowed sign-in methods
Tell us which sign-in methods you would like your team to use. You can allow one or more of the following:
Google
Microsoft
Facebook
One-Time Password via Email (bypass SSO)
Other (please specify the identity provider you would like us to configure)
3. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) grace period
Let us know how long you would like users to be able to postpone setting up 2FA before it becomes mandatory.
Maximum grace period: 14 days
4. Trusted devices
Advise whether you want users to be able to select Trust this device when signing in. This allows users to remember trusted devices and reduce the number of 2FA prompts on those devices.
5. Stay signed in
Advise whether you want users to be able to select Stay signed in when logging into Rave.
If you enable this option, please also specify:
- Maximum sign-in duration – The maximum number of days users can remain signed in, even if they continue using Rave.
- Allowed range: 1–30 days
- System default: 30 days
- Maximum inactivity period – The maximum number of days users can remain signed in without any activity before they are required to sign in again.
- Allowed range: 1–30 days
- System default: 7 days
Once we receive your request, the Rave Support team will configure these settings for your organisation and confirm when they have been applied.
