To reassign a Project from one client to another, you transfer the project's Enquiry to the new client. This will update the Project's client and change the primary client in the Project's People sub-tab as well.  



How to Change the Primary Client Assigned to a Project

As mentioned above, to reassign a project to another client, start by opening up the project's enquiry you want to change, i.e. clicking on the enquiry link from any page - this could be via your Projects list, or CRM Leads & Clients list.
  • Clicking on the enquiry link opens the enquiry profile.  Clicking on the 3-dot menu to the right of the enquiry reference reveals the 'Transfer to Another Client' option
  • Clicking on this opens the 'Transfer enquiry' pop-up, allowing you to select your new Primary Client
  • Once your new client has been selected, clicking the 'Proceed' button will transfer the enquiry and project to the new client.



Note: 
You can not change a Project's client in the Project Overview or via the Project's People sub-tabs.  You must go to the enquiry and transfer the Client from there.  The Primary Client will be greyed out if you try to edit and change the Primary Client in this screen.
