You can create a project for your client's enquiry at any point during their sales journey. Your client can be a New Lead or any other state progressing through the sales pipeline. There are 3 ways to add a project to a client enquiry - let's check them out.
Note: If you do not already have an enquiry (sales lead) to add a new project to, you will need to create an enquiry first. Refer to our Create a New Project - By Adding a New Client Enquiry First article for assistance here.
Creating a Project in your CRM Leads & Clients Screen
You can create a Project for your client enquiry from the CRM Leads & Clients screen by clicking on the client's Sales Pipeline drop-down and selecting 100% Won.
This will open the Contract Details pop-up asking for the Signed contract date and Signed contract value - unless you tick the Charge-up build check box, in which case just the signed contract date is required.
You then have the option of just Saving and not creating a project, or you can Save & Add a Project to then work your way through populating your project's details.
Creating a Project in your Enquiry Screen
You can create a Project from your client's enquiry screen, by clicking on the 100% Won/last stage of your sales pipeline or by selecting 100% Won in the Sales pipeline stage dropdown.
Either action will open the Contract Details pop-up asking for the Signed contract date and Signed contract value - unless you tick the Charge-up build check box, in which case just the signed contract date is required.
You then have the option of just Saving and not creating a project, or you can Save & Add a Project to then work your way through populating your project's details.
Creating a Project from an Enquiry (no signed contract)
You can also create a Project from your client's enquiry screen without a signed contract, by clicking on the '+ Project' button to then work your way through populating your project's details.
Creating a project will open the Project Details screen, where you can input your project information.
Refer to our Add Project Information article for assistance with this step.
