If your contractor has left the business and you need to add a new contact person, or the current person's username and notification email are misaligned, the process is quick and simple.
Step 1: Invite the New Contractor/Correct Email address to Rave via the " Add a Contractor " button
Step 2: Once the new contractor has been invited, send an email to:
help@ravebuild.co.nz Include the following information in your email:
- The OLD contractor’s email address
- The NEW contractor’s email address
- A simple request such as: “Please can you do a contractor merge from X to Y for us.
Our Rave support team can then seamlessly transfer all historical data and project history from the old contractor profile to the new one.
Important
Do not change the old user’s email address to the new person’s email address.
This creates a mismatch between the user name and email address, which can cause issues within the system.
If your contractor has changed their email address the exact same process is to be followed as we can then transfer from the old email to the new one. Passwords remain the same or the contractor can do a password reset
