Overview
When importing data into Rave using a template strict CSV formatting is required. Column headers, column order, data formats, and controlled terminology must match the Rave template exactly.
This article explains how to use ChatGPT to align a source CSV to a Rave template savin you time and money copying and pasting the information into the correct format.
ChatGPT does not replace validation in Rave but can significantly reduce formatting time and common import errors.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have:
The Rave template CSV file
The source CSV file you need to convert.
Upload the Template csv from Rave into Chat GPT and type the prompt in to re-configure your csv into the same format as the Rave template.

Pleace can you take Extract1 and format it into the samplecsv file format
Screenshot #2 - we then uploaded the non formatted file and the sample from Rave with the file names matching the first request. ChatGPT had then taken that information and formatted it in under 10 seconds.

We then asked ChatGPT to update the markup column, tax rate and code code in bulk for us so that it was all consistent
Once this was done we downloaded the new sample file above and it was in the correct format that required no more than 2 minutes to sense check.
