Those with Branch Timesheet View/Add/Edit permissions have the ability to view all timesheet entries for the branch. Additionally, it provides three sub-tabs for a given date range period. The Overview tab offers a week-by-week overview for both this week and last week. The Summary screen displays a top-level view of your timesheet entries, with a range of filters. While the Details screen provides you with your detailed breakdown of all timesheet entries for the branch, it also allows those with permissions to add or edit branch entries.
NOTE: If your payroll week does not start on a Sunday/Monday, the Advanced Timesheets 'Payroll Week Starting Day' option in the Timesheets Settings page allows you to set another day. Changing this day from Sunday/Monday will change the first day of the week row on the Timesheets/Branch Timesheets/Summary/ /User Summary report also.
Summary sub-tab
Displays a top-level view of your branches' timesheet entries for a given Date Period range, including the option to select a custom date range. There are several additional filters available, including:
Summary - Overview
This report shows all timesheet entries that have been entered per user within the date range. We display the timesheet user's Name, the total number of Hours logged, the Entry types (if using Payroll settings), the total Breaks (if Breaks are turned on), and then the total hours excluding Breaks (if Breaks are turned on). You can use the Filters to select only certain Users and/or Projects to review, or just show All.
Summary - Project Summary
This report shows all projects that have time entered against them within the date range. We display the Project Reference, Contract Name, total Hours logged, total Breaks (if Breaks are turned on), and then Total hours excluding breaks (if breaks are turned on). You can use the Filters to select specific Projects to review or just show all. The date range can be set from pre-populated choices or custom dates. You can export to both PDF and Excel via the Export as option.
Summary - User Summary
This report shows all the timesheet entries for a specific user. We display the Date, Day of the week, Status of the entry (if using the approve timesheet feature), Expected hours (if using the Expected hours is turned on), actual Hours, Entry Type (if using Payroll settings), Breaks (if Breaks are turned on) and then Total excluding breaks (if Breaks are turned on) You can use the Filters to select the user you want to review hours for.
- If the user has gone over their expected hours, we will show a red Caution icon to indicate they have logged more hours than you expected
- If the user has matched exactly to their expected hours, it will show a black tick
- If the user has not logged any hours, or they are under their expected hours, it will show the line/text in green
