Accessing the Reporting Module
To begin:
Click on ‘Reporting’ at the top-right of your Rave screen.
Depending on your permission level, you will see tabs for:
Company
Branch
Salesperson
For this guide, we are focusing on the Company tab.
Note: Only Head Office staff or users with multiple Rave accounts will have access to Company-level reports, which combine reporting across all branches.
Navigating to CRM Reports
In the Reporting Module, click on the CRM tab (left-hand side).
You will now see a list of available CRM reports.
The Source of Lead report is the first report in this list.
Understanding the Source of Lead Report
Purpose
This report helps you visually track where your leads are coming from. It’s especially useful for:
Business owners evaluating marketing efforts
Sales teams identifying high-performing lead sources
Making informed decisions on marketing spend
Using Filters and Date Ranges
At the top of the report, you’ll find:
Date Range Filter – choose a custom range or use preset options like:
Yesterday + Today
This Week
Last Week, etc.
Reset Dates – clears your filters to start a new search.
Visual Report: Circle Graph
The New Enquiries by Source of Lead is shown as a colour-coded circle graph.
Each segment represents a lead source (e.g., Google, Facebook, Referral).
Click a coloured section to view a second-level graph showing sub-sources (if used).
Example: In the selected range, there were 162 new enquiries across two branches, with 48 coming from Google Search.
Detailed Report & Exporting Data
Data Table View
Below the graph, you’ll see a detailed list of enquiries broken down by:
Branch name first
Filtering Options
You can refine the report using filters such as:
Branch

Source of Lead
Source of Lead Type
Or search by
- Client / Enquiry / Project
The table updates according to the date range selected at the top.
Export Functionality
Use the export option to download a CSV file.
If no filters are applied, the export will include all displayed headings.
Using Hyperlinks in the Report
Many data fields have blue hyperlinks – click to navigate directly to those pages in Rave.
If branch names appear without links, this means you're not currently in that branch.
Use the Branch Switch (top right of your screen) to switch branches.
This protects data integrity by ensuring you're in the correct branch when accessing linked content.
