Project Settings - General & Notifications

You can access your Project Settings (with the appropriate permissions) from within your project by clicking the Project Settings sub-tab and then navigating to the General tab or the Notifications Tab.   The Project Schedule Settings help article can be found here.


The permissions required to see this tab is sitting under Project Settings and is called General Project Settings and/or Project Notifications Settings and allows you to either have No access, view only or full add/edit to each option.



General Settings 

Visibility 

You now have the ability to toggle specific visibility settings for this project. The available options include:

  • Show Client details to contractors
  • Allow branch staff to view project messages
  • Show client details to site staff users
  • Show project details to site staff users
  • Show client details to timesheet users
  • Show project details to timesheet users


If all project-level notifications are turned off, Rave will not send notifications to any users—even if they have notifications turned on at the user level. To read more about Per User Notification Control please click here for our help article. 


Timesheet Settings

You now have the ability to make a timesheet tag mandatory per project. 

This is either a toggle on to enable or off to disable. 

 


General Settings 

Notifications


You have the ability to toggle specific notifications on or off for this project. The available options include:


Albums

Album CreatedThis will allow users to be notified when an album is created in a project they have access to

Album DeletedThis will allow users to be notified when an album is deleted in a project they have access to

Album Item AddedThis will allow users to be notified when a image or video is added to an album

Album Item Deleted This will allow users to be notified when a image or video is deleted from an album

Album Shared With Client/Contractor - This will allow users to be notified when an album they have access to is shared with a Client or Contractor.


Files

Client Upload - This will allow users to be notified when clients upload files to the Client Files in a project they have access to

Contractor Upload - This will allow users to be notified when contractor upload files to the Contractor Files in a project they have access to 

Internal User Upload - This will allow users to be notified when an internal user upload files to any File Section in a project they have access to 


Financial 

PO Sent/Resent - CC project manager when PO is sent/resent, if this option is enabled in the user's notification settings

CC Primary Account Email - CC the Primary Account Email when a PO is sent/resent, if this option is enabled in the branch 

CC Secondary Account Email - CC the Secondary Account Email when a PO is sent/resent, if this option is enabled in the branch notification settings

CC Financial Account Email - CC the Financial Account Email when a PO is sent/resent, if this option is enabled in the branch notification settings

PO/PO Line items cancelled - CC project manager when PO/PO line items are cancelled, if this option is enabled in the user's notification settings

Estimate/Variation Approved by Client - Notify me when an estimate or variation is approved by the client on items I created

Estimate/Variation Declined by Client - Notify me when an estimate or variation is declined by the client on items I created


Schedule

Schedule Task Amend - This will allow users to be notified when a schedule ask associated to a progress payment has been amended. 


Checklists

The Checklist notifications are -  When a checklist is Added | Edited | Comment added | Comment Edited | Comment Deleted | Completed and | Deleted.
