Rave's Timesheets has three Timesheet summary screens: My Timesheets and Branch Timesheets (if you cannot see this one, ask your Branch Owner for access), all available via the Timesheet button.  The third option is the Project Timesheets view, found in the Project via the Timesheet subtab.



The Branch Timesheets Screen

Those with Branch Timesheet View/Add/Edit permissions have the ability to view all timesheet entries for the branch.  Additionally, it provides three sub-tabs for a given date range period. The Overview tab offers a week-by-week overview for both this week and last week. The Summary screen displays a top-level view of your timesheet entries, with a range of filters.  While the Details screen provides you with your detailed breakdown of all timesheet entries for the branch, it also allows those with permissions to add or edit branch entries. 


The Overview sub-tab

This is a week-by-week overview to see all entries for this week and last week. There is an option to filter by user, project and/or user group. You can also tick the box to include users without a timesheet if required. 


In the overview, you will see the hours logged for your users for each day of the date range selected.  Also displaying a payroll tag for any special entry types i.e. annual leave, sick leave etc... 




The Summary sub-tab
Displays a top-level view of your branches' timesheet entries for a given Date Period range, including the option to select a custom date range. There are several additional filters available, including:

- The Report Type filter allows you to view an overview of all timesheet entries for the given Date Period, or a specific person's entries via a User Summary
- The Date Period with a number of defaults, plus a custom date range option
- The Users filter allows you to select a specific user

- The Projects filter will only show on the Overview and allows you to select a specific project or multiple projects

Each staff member's line displays the total hours logged, any payroll entry types selected, the total of any breaks, and the total hours logged less breaks.  

Given the date period you are viewing, a totals line at the bottom of the page displays a total of each column.





The Details sub-tab

Provides you with a detailed breakdown of your entries, displaying the first 50 entries by default. From this screen, you have the ability to:

  • Add a new timesheet entry for yourself (or others with add/edit permission) - via the 'Add an Entry' option to the left
  • Export data to a CSV or PDF 
  • Reset Filters
  • Filter by Date - with enhanced date selection
  • Filter by Project
  • Filter by Timesheet Tags or Timesheet Tasks*
  • Filter by Payroll Entry Type* - annual leave, sick leave etc... 
  • See if the entry is part of a bill
  • Edit or Delete a timesheet entry
  • Click on the 'Notes Icon' to view Timesheet notes
  • Click on the notes column header '+ | - icons' to Show All Notes or Hide All Notes
  • Click on the project name/number as a shortcut back to that project

    Each entry includes the date, project (as a clickable link), client, timesheet task*/tag details, payroll entry type*,
     start and finish times, total time logged, any breaks, and a total of hours logged less breaks.  And the 3-dot action icon to edit or delete an entry.  Given the date period you are viewing, a totals line at the bottom of the page displays a total of each column.  

    *These are Advanced Timesheets only features 

    Enhanced date selection means that if you select a date range Monday 19th to Friday 23rd (a 5-day range), then change the start date to Monday 12th, the end date will automatically move to Friday the 16th - maintaining the 5-day reporting range.  To select a new date without the enhanced date selection, click on the cross to cancel the existing date and select the new date again. 



    TIP: You can hover over the '?' tooltip to the top left for more instructions/tips.
