Overview of a Project's Schedule Screen (Sub-Tab)

After logging into RAVE, you access the project management systems by clicking on the Project button at the top of the page.  Then, from the Projects sub-tab, find your job, and click on the project link for the schedule you want to manage.  This will open your project overview.  From here, you can click on the schedule 'pie chart' or the 'Schedule’ sub-tab to access the schedule.

The ‘Task List’ Schedule View
Displays the schedule in a Task List format - grouping scheduled tasks into blocks of Milestones (stages).

The ‘Task Gantt’ Schedule View

Is a Gantt chart view of the schedule, where tasks are listed and also displayed with duration bars

The ‘Task Calendar’ Schedule View

Is a month-by-month diary view of tasks in the schedule

The top-level ‘Milestone Gantt’ Schedule View

Is a higher-level gantt chart view of the schedule - where the milestones (instead of tasks) are listed and displayed with duration bars.

The Project's Schedule ‘Settings’ sub-tab

Is where we can add holidays and adjust the background settings of your schedule - for this project only - for an in-depth look at this section, refer to this Scheduling Settings - Per Project article

The Schedule Action Drop-Down menu

The ‘Task List’ schedule views action drop-down menu (the 3 dots to the right of the project number) is where we can access a number of actions to manage our schedule.  For an in-depth look at this section, refer to this Schedule Action Dropdown Menu article

The ‘Activate Schedule’ button

Visible when a project is in an active or maintenance state, the 'Activate Schedule' button, allows you to keep your schedule hidden until you are ready to share it - even if the project is live (active) and visible to your sub-trades. The schedule is kept hidden until you 'activate' it.

Once the schedule is activated, the 'Activate Schedule' button is replaced by a schedule notification switch.

The Schedule Details Pane

Provides additional project details:

  • The Schedule Type - Classic, Advanced or Enterprise
  • The Client's Name | email address & Phone number + Contract Name - if loaded
  • Building Consent number - if loaded
  • The Site Address - if loaded
  • The Schedule Template(s) loaded to this project
  • How many working days the schedule is set for
