Rave Timesheets - The Labour Budget By User

Modified on Thu, 2 Oct at 11:15 AM

Once you've created your Labour Budget in the project's Timesheets > Manage Tasks sub-tab, you can then click on the Budget tab, which is located directly next to it

The Budget sub-tab functions as your labour back-costing screen, helping you track and manage labour costs against budgeted estimates.

Accessing the Budget Sub-Tab

If you can’t see the Budget sub-tab, it may be due to missing permissions. To gain access, someone with admin rights must enable the "Timesheet Budget" permission for you under Manage Users in Rave.

There are two reporting options to now choose from.

Budget by Task and Budget by User

This Article is for Budget By User. You can view the article on Budget by Task Here

This report provides a detailed breakdown of timesheet hours logged against each task. It includes both the cost and sell rates for each user, which are sourced either from their user profiles or from any overridden rates set in the project settings. Additionally, the report displays the total amount expected to be invoiced to the client, enabling an easy comparison with the Budget by Task report for effective budget tracking and project cost analysis.

There is an export to CSV or PDF option to the left of the report.

You can filter certain dates with the From and To box.

Filter only a certain user or users

Filter a certain task or tasks

Filter a certain Tag or Tags  - (If you have no tags in place the filter will not show)
