Branch Reporting - Financial - Client Invoice Reports

Accessing the Reporting Module

To begin:

  1. Click on ‘Reporting’ at the top-right of your Rave screen.

  2. Depending on your permission level, you will see tabs for:

    • Company

    • Branch

    • Salesperson

For this guide, we are focusing on the Branch tab.


Navigating to FINANCIAL Reports

  1. In the Reporting Module, click on the Financial tab (left-hand side).

  2. You will now see a list of available Financial reports.

  3. The Client Invoices report is the one you need for this guide


Any document type in reporting that has a blue link in the document number field means its a hyperlink and clicking that link will take you to that document in Rave


There are numerous Client Invoice reports available.


Progress Payment Invoices 

Overview - A overview of all invoice types with payment amounts (We also show the invoiceable associations on this report so you can see which invoiceable belongs to which invoice or credit note)

Deposit - Only invoices created on the progress payment tab using the deposit box 

Other - Only invoices created on the progress payment tab using the other box  

Payment Schedule -  Only invoices created on the progress payment tab using the Payment Schedule box 

Variation - Only invoices created on the progress payment tab using the Variation box

Non Contract - Only invoices created on the progress payment tab using the Non Contract Box


You can select any of the above sub tabs to filter the information down to a specific type of invoice.

You can also select from pre set date ranges or custom search any date range

You can then print and or export the information shown on the page.


Invoices from Bills

All invoices created using the charge up method of selecting the bills and creating the client invoice are displayed here.

You can also select from pre set date ranges or custom search any date range

you  can then print and or export the information shown on the page.


Other Invoices

All invoices creating by selecting Purchase Orders or Quotes and Converting to Client invoices are displayed here

You can also select from pre set date ranges or custom search any date range

you  can then print and or export the information shown on the page.


All Unpaid Invoices

All invoices created in Rave regardless of what type they are will show here if they are unpaid.


All Paid Invoices

All invoices created in Rave regardless of what type they are will show here if they are paid.


All Requested Invoices

All invoices created in Rave regardless of what type they are will show here if they are requested and we also show the payment status. 


Client Credit Notes

All Client Credit Notes created in Rave regardless of what type they are will show here and we also show the payment status.


You can search the below boxes to refine information:

  • Project Reference
  • Contract Name
  • Site Address
  • Client Name
  • Invoice Reference
  • Status of Document

The remaining fields are non searchable/filterable

  • Project Manager
  • Associations
  • Request Date
  • Due Date
  • Salesperson
  • Type 
  • Invoice amount Incl GST
  • Credit amount Incl GST
  • Net Paid amount Incl GST
  • Balance 

Tip: Due to its width, this report is often easier to review when downloaded as a CSV and opened in a spreadsheet tool like Excel or Google Sheets.
