Adding a client Enquiry flows on from adding a new client to Rave.  Once you've loaded all your client's details, click the 'Next - Add an Enquiry' button to add an enquiry, and complete the client and enquiry setup process.

Adding an Enquiry

Clicking the 'Next - Add an Enquiry' button opens the Add an Enquiry screen - and again, you're just filling in as many fields as you can, ensuring that the sales pipeline stage, and priority (all required fields) are completed.  If you don't have all the information to hand, you don't have to worry. Complete the details you do have, as you can always return later to edit your client's enquiry.

The following is an explanation of some of the key fields to complete.

Enquiry Details

  • The Enquiry Reference - is a free text field allowing you to create your own reference for the enquiry i.e. architectural build, house and land project, double garage, kitchen renovation etc... If you leave this field empty, Rave will auto-generate an enquiry reference for you
  • The Estimated Budget - feeds into your sales reporting and is a guestimate/ball park figure of how much you think this enquiry might be worth

Sales Pipeline

  • The Sales Pipeline Stage- lets you know how far through your sales process you are, this dropdown is a required field
  • The Priority - provides additional flexibility in managing your clients - this dropdown is also a required field
  • The Assigned Salesperson - will default to you when creating an enquiry from a client profile, and is another required field
  • The Source of Lead - feeds into your sales reporting, key for helping to identify what marketing activity is working best for you
  • The Source of Lead Type - provides you with additional source of lead options, it will only appear if your selection under Source of Lead has a list of sub-options to choose from

Note: All fields marked in bold text above/below are customisable. Editing these customisable drop-downs is permission-based at the user level.

Enquiry Details and Location

  • The Location(s) of interest - allows you to select a region, and the option to add a customisable list of sub-regions
  • Interested in - allows you to select the type of project, e.g. house, house & Land, etc
  • The Location type - allows you to add a site address or a lot number
    • The Street Address option - is searchable. If the address is already registered with council, start typing in the address and Google Maps will load any matching addresses for you to select from.  Otherwise, you can manually add these details too.
    • The Lot option - allows you to type this in manually.  Also, you can click on the displayed map to populate the latitude and longitude values
  • Land Owner - Yes | No | No (actively looking)

Important Dates

These dates all feed into the Sales Pipeline, and Sales Forecast reporting

  • The Conditional contract date - is the date the contract was signed with Conditions - i.e subject to finance, subject to title etc
  • The Expected close date - is the date you are hoping to ‘close the deal’ - it is your expected contract signing date

Once you've loaded in all of your client's enquiry details, you can click the 'Next - Assign Notes, Messages, Files' button to add a follow-up meeting, email, task, and/or notes.
