Depending on your role and permissions, you can change your (and your team's) project notification settings to reduce or increase the notifications you (and your team) receive from Rave - to your Rave Notifications (Alerts) and/or email inbox.
Note: All users can update their own notifications based on what they have been given access to. If a given user can not see a particular notification switch - they haven't been given access to that permission. In this instance a branch owner, or another internal team with the required permissions can update their notifications as required.

At the top of the page is the Branch switcher icon allowing a user who is cross branch to set different notifications depending on which branch they are working in.
The below Headers and their notification options are listed.
If there is only one choice its because that notification doesnt have email and internal option.
If your choices dont match the ones in our FAQ its because you dont have access to that option.
Schedule Notifications

Note: You (or your team member) must be on the people tab of a project to receive these notifications
Project Notifications
- Site/Build Notes - turned off by default
- Client Site/Build Notes - turned off by default
- Project Manager Changed (Your Projects) i.e. notify me when the Project Manager has been changed on projects I am the Project Manager of
- Project Manager Changed (Other Projects) i.e. notify me when the Project Manager has been changed on projects I am not the Project Manager of
- Purchase Order Sent/Resent i.e. notify me when i am the Project Manager of a job where the PO has been sent or Re Sent.
- Purchase Order Cancellation or Line Item Cancellation i.e. notify me when i am the Project Manager of a job where the cancellation or line item cancellation occurs.
- Album Created i.e. notify me when an album is created on a project I have access to
- Album Deleted i.e. notify me when an album is deleted on a project I have access to
- Album Item Added i.e. notify me when a photo or video file is uploaded on a project I have access to
- Album Item Deleted i.e. notify me when a photo or video file is deleted on a project I have access to
- Client File Uploaded i.e. notify me when a file is uploaded by a client on a project I have access to
- Contractor File Uploaded i.e. notify me when a file is uploaded by a Contractor on a project I have access to
- Internal User File Uploaded i.e. notify me when a file is uploaded by an internal staff member on a project I have access to
Note: All File and Album notifications will only work if the PROJECT setting has been switched on first.
Note: The two Purchase Order Options are only for FMS users and is a default setting so you dont have to CC PMs in these emails when creating or cancellation the PO's.

Note: For Contractors, if you have the Site/Build notes setting turned off in Branch settings but the contractor has their notification turned on, they will NOT get notified as your setting overrides their setting.

Project Notification Preference Override
You can override a users notifications per project using the icon beside the Files notification that looks like a house.
Example: If a certain user has access to 10 projects in Rave and all of those projects have their Project Level notifications turned on and the user themselves has their User Notifications turned on they can choose to opt out of any projects they DONT want notifications for.

XERO Notifications
For those clients who have Financial Management and use Xero, these notification options are for user specific notifications only. This will not affect the Branch level email notifications.
You can choose to toggle on/off any of the xero notifications using the below screen.

Contractors Notifications
There are new Contractor File Notification options both internal and External per Branch User.
These notifications are turned OFF by default so will need to be turned on in order for them to begin sending.
The Contractor File Expiry Notifications when slid on will sent out via email/internal notification 1 month and 1 day (2 different notifications before the document is due to expire.
An example of the External email is below:
In this example A Contractor File for "Acceptance Contractor" has had the expiry date changed from 8th April 2025 to 30th April 2025, the File Name is Selection Print (1).pdf and the person who made this change is User Gellert Grindelwald.
To View or Amend your Profile Notification Settings
Branch owners (or Admin users with permissions) can amend their and other users' Notification Settings. To do this, start by clicking on the profile dropdown at the top right of your screen. Under profile settings, click on 'Notification Control'.
From here, you can select the Notification Settings' Schedule, Project, Xero or Timesheets sub-tabs - turning on or off specific email and internal (Rave Alert) notifications.
The specific user you are changing these settings for can be selected via the User dropdown to the top right of the notification screen.
The User Groups and Permissions to Manage your teams Notification Settings
To be able to manage Notification Settings for your team - you must have a Branch Owner, a Project Manager, a Project Admin, and/or a Financial Admin user group selected in your user profile, and then Manage other user Notification Preferences ticked.
- The Manage Project Notification Preferences - Allows you to select/unselect project specific notifications.
- The Manager Other User Notification Preferences - Allows you to access the Notification Preferences of other users in your branch
Note: If these permissions are not set for a user, they can not access and edit Project Schedule Task, Project, and Timesheet Notification Settings
Bulk Updating Notifications for your team.
To speed up the process of setting notifications on behalf of your team we have introduced a Bulk Update option.
You can now select multiple 'users' at once and bulk change their permissions.
You will only be able to bulk update notifications for users in groups that the notifications are relevant to. I.E if the user is not able to be a project manager the notifications for "notify me of x when I am the Project manager" wont show.
Select the users from the drop down.
Then select the Notification Type or Types you want to change. I.E schedule briefing.
Then select on/off and internal or external (if both options are relevant)
Then select update users.
This will bulk update those notifications you have chosen.
Note: The user themselves can then log in later and change the notifications themselves based on their own preferences.
