You have the ability to override your team members' profile timesheet's cost and sell rates at a project level via your project's Timesheets / Settings sub-tab;
How to set a Project specific Cost and Sell Price
Going to your project's Project Timesheets / Settings sub-tab, you will see a toggle "Override Profile Rates for Billing/Invoices"
- Once this toggle is slid 'on,' you can add each team member who needs to add timesheet entries to this job and for whom you want to override their standard hourly cost and/or sell price.
NOTE: Any team member with timesheet visibility and 'View all projects' settings turned on, regardless of whether they are on the projects 'People Tab,' will show up in this list. If the person has 'view allocated projects only' and is not on the people sub-tab, you will need to add them to show up in this list. - When adding each team member, you need to enter a COST and SELL per-hour rate for them. Click 'Add User' to add them.
NOTE: This cost and sell has no GST as it's a labour component. - Repeat the above steps for each member that needs custom cost and sell pricing loaded for this job, and once completed, press 'Save Changes'
You can now select any of these users' timesheet entries to generate a bill. When doing so, their default cost and sell pricing will be overridden with the new, project-specific pricing. When you first add a new user, their default cost and sell price will be shown in their profile for you to override. - There is a 'Add user to the project' check you can select to add any user to this project by selecting them from the drop down. This will only work for timesheet users and site manager or site staff who have View All Projects. To add other users to this project you need to go to the people tab like normal to add them
