The timesheet Task Hours report is a condensed version of our Budget Report in the Timesheets Advanced Module.
Site Managers, Site Staff, and Timesheet users can turn on this report to see the number of hours Estimated per task vs. their Actual timesheet hours. We then display the variance hours as a + or - .=
The team can then click any 'person' icon to view which staff members made up the hours in the report.
That is, they can:
- Sign in as a site staff, site manager or timesheet user
- Navigate to a project
- And select the Timesheets sub-tab
Then from the Task Hours page:
- To the left, we display the task name as set on the Labour Budget
- The next column is the Total Estimated hours - as set by the person loading the labour budget
- Then the total Timesheet Hours that have been loaded (to date) to each task
- Rave then displays the an over or under Variation Hours depending on the hours loaded vs estimated
- Users can click the little person icon, or the person +/- icons to expand the names of each person and how the task hours are made up
Note: If the Timesheet hour is over the Hours estimated the figure will be in Red and the Variance will be in Red.
In our example below, both Hermione, Ginny and and Acceptance Site Manager made up a total of 36 for the task highlighted. This is 24 hours over the expected time of 12 hours total. By Clicking on the little person icon we can see who it was that made the total blow out and by how many hours per person.
This page can be exported to PDF or CSV file by selecting the icons to the top left - under the TASK HOURS button
- The PDF will include the expanded user information
- The CSV file only has the data on the screen - it excludes the user information
